The following documents are required for Nationality Certificate:

• An application for Nationality Certificate (handwriten application will be accepted, no prescribed format)
• Photocopy of valid passport
• Photocopy of valid resident card

• Original receipt of deposit to the Embassy Account

  a. for regular delivery (within 3 working days)- 3,000 JPY

  b. for urgent delivery (withing same working day)- 4,500 JPY

• Permanent address including father’s name and cell phone no. written in English in a separate paper.

Nationality certificates may be obtained by post also. For that, a return envelope with the recipient’s address written on it and having sufficient postage should be sent to us.
