Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1972, our relations have continued to grow and expand. Japan has been a steadfast partner in Bangladesh’s development journey, contributing significantly to our infrastructure development, economic growth, human resource development and social progress. Today, our cooperation covers many new areas, including development cooperation, trade and investment, science and technology, ICT, education, skills development, and people-to-people exchanges.
