H.E. Mr. Shahabuddin Ahmed attended an event of writing "kakizome" -a type of Japanese calligraphy organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan in celebration of 2022 Japan-Southwest Exchange Year. The Ambassadors of Southwest Asian Embassies in Tokyo were invited to this event at Hotel New Otani in Tokyo. H.E Mr. Honda Taro, Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kano Takehiro, Director General, Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department and Mr. Hasebe Jun, Director, Southwest Asia Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan were present at the event. It may be mentioned that Bangladesh and Japan will celebrated their 50^th Anniversary of diplomatic relation on 10 February 2022
