Travel advisory to visit Bangladesh

The new Omicron variant is spreading in different countries. Under these circumstances, the relevant authorities of Bangladesh has decided that until further review, visitors from Southern African Countries (South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique) will be discouraged to enter Bangladesh.
The Bangladeshi expatriates are also discouraged not to visit Bangladesh during winter holidays until further review. For emergency travels by Bangladeshi nationals, they will have to undergo institutional quarantine.
